How To Make Tattoo Lines Thicker

The lines on my tattoo are too thick. is there anyway to fix this? (self.tattoos) submitted 3 years ago the problem is that my artist made the lines really thick and it looks like a sharpie drawing because of this. he told me that it would have to be a fairly large tattoo to look right because tattoo needles can only make lines that are. Thicker needles produce thicker lines, while thinner needles produce thinner lines. the overall size of the tattoo will also dictate just how thick or thin the line becomes. smaller tattoos require thinner lines, in order to portray detail and not make the design seem muddled.. Tattoo ink comes that thin in the bottle for a reason. you're not supposed to add anything to it or compromise it in any way. unless you mean how to make the ink lines thicker, in which case you use a needle with more heads or you go over it two or three times, making it thicker each time you pass it..

The line will look different if the machine is straight up and down, pulled against the needle or pushed towards the needle, also the angle, all will affect how the line looks. sometimes artists will make some lines thicker than others for artistic reasons. a mistake should look different than intentionally stronger lines.. This chapter covers just the straight forward mechanics of outlining a tattoo. for more information on this and how it ties in to the overall picture of giving a tattoo, see the chapter "tattoo review" how to make your tattoo lines be straight and good look? 2 years ago. reply; isto weckman is it normal for the lines of a tattoo to get. The tattoo community on reddit. reddit gives you the best of the internet in one place. without a blowout. unfortunately, your blowout is particularly bad as there is a massively thick spread of ink (from the look of the other picture); more commonly blowouts look like a black/blueish glow, spreading out slightly in the direction the needle.
